申请过程

• 填写并提交 应用程序 和 建议 在大一的3月26日之前.
• Applications will be reviewed by the Executive Director of the 基督教领袖中心.
• The 基督教领袖中心 will schedule a 30-minute interview for you with the Executive Director of the 基督教领袖中心. The interview will give you the opportunity to discuss your leadership program 应用程序 和 make sure any questions you have about the program are answered.
• Applicants will be notified by email whether or not they are accepted into the program.

The 基督教领袖证书课程 consists of five activity areas: Mentorship, 学术, 领导学习, 服务承诺, 及领导措施. 每个活动领域都有自己的要求，具体如下.

1. 指导

Students will select a mentor from outside the 威斯康辛州路德 College community, 他们认为谁是领导者, 和 cultivate a relationship with this individual throughout their college career. Students will include a reflective essay on the lessons learned from their mentor, 以及他们计划如何将这些课程应用到他们作为基督徒领袖的生活中.

2. 学术

必修WLC学术目录中的两门课程. 对于每门课程, students will 提交 a one-page reflective essay OR approved creative project demonstrating how their perspective on leadership has been impacted by the course's curriculum 和 assignments.

• All students will complete COM 333 "领导 和 Communication" with a grade of C or better.
• All students will complete COL 300 “The 领导 Lab” with a grade of C or better.

3. 领导学习

(10 hours/year minimum; total of 30 hours for certification)

• Participation in off-campus leadership 研讨会/研讨会s requires approval from the student's leadership coach prior to attending.

Hours must be logged in the 领导 Portfolio within seven days of the date of completion of the workshop, 研讨会, 等.

4. 服务承诺

(20 hours/year minimum; total of 60 hours for certification)

5. 领导项目

All students in the program must participate in the Serve2Lead Impact Challenge at least once during their time in the program. A minimum of one 领导 Initiative must address an off-campus problem or need.

随着学生完成不同的活动区域, they will update their Christian 领导 Development Portfolio (CLDP) 和 continue to build it throughout program.

Once the final stages of program are completed 和 approved by the 领导 Committee, students will be recognized for all of their leadership work by being presented with their Certificate in Christian 领导 during an awards ceremony.
